The Holy Father Pope Francis received yesterday an unexpected gift from the Romanian car manufacturer Dacia: a white Dacia Duster.
The gift was presented to the Holy Father yesterday, during a visit to the Vatican of Mr. Cristophe Dridi, general manager of Renault Group Romania and CEO of Dacia car company.
Pope Francis is known to be very modest in all the ways of his life. The same applies about the cars the Holy Father is using during his trips abroad.
A few years ago, during a visit to Armenia, he used a white Dacia Logan. This year, he also used a Dacia Logan when visiting Romania.
Dacia is a Romanian low-cost brand of the Groupe Renault, manufacturing cheap, affordable and yet reliable cars, such as Logan, Sandero and Duster.
The white Duster delivered yesterday to the Holy Father has been built in the Dacia factory from Mioveni, a small city in Arges county, Romania.
